Elbow Room Supply Drive
Description
We are partnering with Elbow Room to support their community as they grow. Your donations will go directly to art supplies that they need for kits and workshops to run their programs in the community.
Elbow Room supports adults experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities to engage their art practice and connect with the Portland art community. Founded in November, 2020, Elbow Room offers virtual art programming 6 days/week to keep our community connected, engaged, and creative while sheltering in place.
Elbow Room is currently transitioning to in person programming out in the community. Elbow Room is also developing gallery infrastructure to exhibit participating artists' work and to amplify their voices and careers. This supply drive is Elbow Room's first fundraising campaign, aimed at supplying their community of 16 artists with archival materials to develop their art portfolios for future exhibitions.
