Each week, our art staff picks an art supply to talk about, letting you know what the product does, why you'd want to have it in your supplies and what to think about when you purchase it. If you're curious to learn more about any art supply or product. Let us know by sending us an email at this link. We'll be sure to do a feature on it. This week, our art staff pick is: RICHESON TABLE EASEL!What can you do with it, and how does it stand out? This wooden tabletop easel is great for using with smaller scale artwork if you need something that doesn't take up a lot of space! It's very sturdy and does a good job holding panels and canvas firmly in place while you're painting or drawing. Any tips or techniques for using it? Likes/ dislikes? If you like to paint small - I've found that this easel fits comfortably with many sizes, and it's adjustable for art up to 11" tall! Unlike some other easels, it's not collapsible - but I find that it actually helps with the sturdiness. (I've gotten "foldable" easels in the past and had them fold while I'm working on something - that's no fun!) A bonus is that since the footprint is only 5 1/4" x 6", so if I need to put it away it doesn't take up much storage space either! Height is 17 1/4”. Do we stock it regularly, or is it a special find?Yes. $14.99 ea. Link to buy it on our art supply site:You can buy it. Please request it in a curbside order.
