This is the first post in our "Oregon Artists Sharing Tips & Technique" series. We are so exited for you to meet Neil Cochrane, a queer trans artist who lives in Portland. He tells us about how his method of doing art, "nudging", opened up new ideas for him. Without further ado, here is what he told us.
Tell us briefly about your art:
I focus on queer portraits and bringing a queer sensibility to classical themes and images.

Please share your techniques & tips with us:
In this video I discuss getting over the fear of learning new things and how good it feels to find the method and medium that resonate with you.
Make sure you check out more of his work at his Instagram page too. We definitely felt inspired after watching his video and seeing his beautiful art. We hope you'll feel the that too.
