We're excited to share this innovative way to make your own travel watercolor set in a recycled tin such as from breath mints, gum or small candy tins. To make this DIY set, you will need:
  1. 12 watercolor pans,
  2. 12 magnets (or sticky back Velcro),
  3. super glue or hot glue and
  4. the watercolor tube paints you would like to add to your custom palette!
Directions:
  1. Attach the magnets or Velcro to the back of each pan with the glue.
  2. Once dry, add the pans to your recycled tin, and fill with your favorite colors!

If you would like to get the supplies for this project, fill out a curbside pickup form on our website. (<<< click link.)
  1. Watercolor pans are 50 cents each,
  2. magnets are 25 cents each, and
  3. we have super glue for 50 cents.
  4. Sticky Velcro packs are $1.80.
  5. We also have many watercolor paints to choose from, both new and used.
  6. You just need to provide the tin, so go get your favorite mints!
Have fun painting and upcycling your tins!

Another thing I saw was someone took oven baked clay and created wells in one slab that fit in the tin. Nice thing about that is you can use all the space and if you want a few larger wells you can make them
