Despite artist and author, Samantha Dion Baker, having to take care of her 2 children, she still finds a way to draw her day.  She shares her personal techniques, struggles, and materials in her pretty book, "Draw Your Day:  An Inspiring Guide to Keeping a Sketch Journal".  Just seeing the little drawings she does each day, makes you want to keep up your own daily drawing practice.

Love your drawings! What sort of a notebook do you like to use, and why do you choose that particular type? I'm curious to find what works for other artists who sketch and paint like this. I find that some kinds of paper work better for sketching, but are not so friendly to watercolors, or if it's good for watercolors then some pens just don't work very well. Still trying to find my happy medium between those issues! Thanks for posting on I've Been Framed blogs.
